No, it's homophobia and toxic masculinity again. They are ashamed of being attracted to us, despite being straight men and it making perfect logical sense, and because of their toxic insecurities think it makes them "gay" to want to... sleep with women. They are usually happy to sleep with trans women, disclosure or no disclosure, it's when there's a possibility of other people finding out that the situation becomes deadly. That's why most of the trans women who are being routinely murdered are s*x workers. The Johns know the sworker is trans when they hook up with her.
