EFFORTPOST OpenAI's new product Sora, a text-to-video AI generator, :soysnooseethe: reaction round-up

If you missed the last few posts on this, Sora is the newest product from OpenAI that generates video from text prompts.

For a first public preview, it's pretty impressive. You can tell it's AI when you look for it, but your average infinite scroller won't suspect a thing.

I can only imagine the inference computation costs to generate one of these videos, as much as I want it be open source I wonder if any consumer hardware could be used. Would probably still be great quantilized
