Same, I wanted to play shooters so I never had a Nintendo console growing up. As a programmer I'm surrounded by annoying nintentodlers so I'm not gonna start now

All the hype around the switch is so alien to me because of this. Glad they have a solid amount of games (unlike the other consoles) but I can't bring myself to be hyped for it considering they're literally all sequels/remakes made to nostalgia bait.
