So there's about a 1/20 complication rate from laser eye surgery, which is a lot worse than I thought. When it goes great, it's amazing, but for the unlucky few who get serious side effects, it apparently can get so bad you can turn suicidal.

Anyway, don't do this shit until you're ok with being the percentage it seems to seriously frick over for life.
Edit: I realize now i've called it lasik and lasek interchangeably and without any differentiation when i should have said โall laser eye surgeryโ. Anyway, that sub is for anyone who got complications from any laser eye surgery, not just lasik. While I am disturbed by most dramacels I don't wish a lifetime of chronic eye issues on anyone here, so I would advise you to investigate what could happen to you if you're going to pursue it. If you're one of the unlucky few that ends up royally fricked, don't forget to post about it here so we can support/laugh at you.

If it's a style tooth, you'll want to save it as much as possible. Implants are expensive.
I had both my canines extracted when I was 19 and it really fricked up my confidence through my early 20s until I could finally afford implants

normally i would but honestly i feel bad. my vision/eyes are the biggest thing I'm a sissy about. Always wear safety glasses at work or when doing almost anything in the garage.

Yup, i got the crap shoot in the genetics with needing glasses. I have astigmatism as well, so i generally try to take care of my eyes partially cause I had wanted to do lasik.
Always carry small bag with extra glasses, saline and contact case and will swap the contacts out if my eyes feel weird.
