Just a little over 1 year ago today, Zoe Barrie aka Seasoning Mommy came into our lives and changed the face of white people food vs black pipo food forever. Since the birth of our savoury saviour, many of us who just assumed that yes... black people are indeed good cooks and know their way around a kitchen have had our eyes opened to the truth!
Here's a short history of this story and what came after:
1. How it all began:

Fr tho, do ppl not wash the goop off the chicken and then pat dry?
I don't think the patting dry works otherwise.

I'm fine with being a peasant if it means I can still buy veggies for less than a dollar.

Yeah but it's easier to pat dry if you wash it off

Patting dry is fine. That liquid on it is usually just water or a brine.

I bbq and always rinse cryovac wrapped meat to get rid of bone fragments and slime before patting dry.
I also like making fun of negros, but I too rinse meat if I think it needs it and I cook a lot.
As for the videos of people washing their chichen with soap...

It's fine to wash it. You just have to avoid splashing chicken water/slime around the rest of your kitchen.
