Overall I'm happy with the Kindle Paperwhite.

Definitely get eink display. You can use it in direct "day on the beach" sunlight as if it was a regular book, no glare.

Backlight is really nice, too. You can set the brightness and the temperature just right to comfortably read out by the campfire
