Very cute. I hate Christmas.

Why? I didn't even celebrate Christmas growing up but I love it

I didn’t celebrate it growing up and I hate it. Idk. Everyone disappears to be with their families and shit. It’s gay. The music is annoying and the lights irritate me. I am uncomfortable receiving gifts. It’s mega gay.

I have a long list of perceived slights that Christmas has inflicted upon me.

:marseybackstab:

That’s what Christmas did to me.

:marseyshrug: I just like having people over for a nice dinner and mulled wine, and I think the lights are pretty

Maybe have some pumpkin pie and you'll feel better :marseypat:

Oh, that’s another thing. I also dislike pumpkin pie and generally don’t eat sugar. I don’t invite anyone over because I live in a place with no people. The lights aren’t pretty, they’re vandalism of nature’s perfection. I disagree with your sense of aesthetic in this regard, and I do believe in objectively true aesthetics when believing this would upset artcels.

It’s all a farce, really. I enjoy stewing alone in my corner.

What were you intending to have for your Christmas dinner?

Well last year I made roast duck, pie, figgy pudding, and of course stuffing and some other sides too. And I don't eat that many sweets usually, but I like making them so I always make cookies and stuff too

You sound like the actual grinch :marseyfacepalm:

I don’t even know what a grinch is. I’m considering trying to bake cookies to try out this really fancy salt I might have access to.

Do you sous vide?

Nah, I'm not that fancy, I just do it in the oven. It always comes out really good though, and I use the fat for the potatoes and other stuff πŸ˜‹

Definitely make cookies, as long as you give most of them away

I don’t really have any friends largely because I live in a place without people. I guess I could bring them to work.

I really highly recommend sous vide for poultry, as it guarantees that it dries out zero percent. It makes things remarkably easy. You can also reuse the fat too, it’s still in the bag. I’ve never cooked a duck so I’ll shut up.

I hope you have a good Christmas dinner.
