Reality is that he was a mixed phenotype non-leukemic leukemia patient (disease progressed out of the marrow) gave a strong chemotherapeutic regiment and was awkward pediatric/ non-pediatric case. Never pushed them on the refusal because it was about 8% one year survival with treatment and go enjoy the last days of your life.final prognosis that was sadly correct was 5 months.

Sorry doc, that's a shitty case. I feel like I've seen you post about the pediatric unit bitching because of the age of the pt, seems lame and gay for them to complain about.

There's a difference between bitching about cases that obviously shouldn't be mine and cases where there's literal confusion because we are accountable to COG.

This is a newer case that was just a very low percentage for survival. Patient is expired and was around the expected prognosis for treatment refusal.
