I'm no expert, and kind of r-slurred. But I would boil it down to typical chud conspiracy brain fuelled by terrible Covid policies. The Covid vaccines were rushed and forced on many people, so it obviously played into the Bill Gates wants to wither away your ballsack theories (not much of a conspiracy, more just Bill not having balls himself to commit to it).

In post covid world the imprint of Covid Vaxx being an evil WEF plot to castrate everyone keeps chuds very much in the antivaxx mindset.

I'm not vaxxed against covid myself because, as I said vaccine was rushed, and on top of that it proved useless for younger people.

if you don't take this shot that we rushed out the door for what amounts to a bad flu season you can't work or go to church or even go to the beach even though it only spreads indoors and your children must take it even though the CDC admits COVID is less dangerous to children than the actual flu but Black Lives Matter protests must continue because of systemic racism and we're pressuring your doctor not to prescribe ivermectin off-label even though it's safer than aspirin and you can't attend your father's funeral and now the pandemic is over yet the COVID shot is still recommeded to 6-month old children and the pharmaceutical companies are immune from being sued even if you can prove you got myocarditis from the shot and small businesses got destroyed by lockdowns but giga corporations thrived because they can afford to deliver products even though Sweden shows lockdowns were pointless and medical experts knew from the beginning that surgical masks did literally nothing yet you had to wear them and if you suggest COVID leaked from a lab in Wuhan you're racist but if you say it emerged from dirty primitive bat-eating wet markets in Wuhan you're not racist even though we have no idea where it came from

In the US anti-vaccine was historically a horseshoe position in that the left wing environmental types tended to consider them to be unnatural and inferior to natural remedies, along with mistrusting the pharmaceutical industry while the right usually had groups that didn't like them due to religious reasons.

Nowadays some of the positions have shifted where the right is definitely more anti-pharmaceutical than the modern day left along with anti-elitism, and anti-government. Also I think rightoids are less likely to do what they are told more or less (contrarian).

At least here in Germany the anti-vaxx crowd was mostly Greens (so left) until Covid happened. They are also the party of homeopathy. Only when Covid happened a big npc update happened and everyone was "always" pro vaxx from that crowd.

Definitely agree that the most right wing complains were about lockdowns & mask mandates. But obviously the anti-vaxxers also joined those groups, so those groups included anti-vaxxers. And as you know if there's one anti-vaxxer at the table, the whole table is anti-vaxx.

In America, Trump's strategy was to downplay covid. Since the president is blamed for anything bad that happens while he is in office, this was strategically sound, but rightoids went full r-slur on this because MAGA is a cult. Anybody doing anything about covid was a left wing agitator, which included vaccine promoters.

The rest of western rightoids adopted this because Europe copies everything from American culture.

It swelled my heart and made me pass out during a light warm up, no one took this seriously and still pushed my to get double and triple vaxxed (for muh safety!) or outright said I was lying or a drunk. I don't even go to the doctor anymore

Also I couldn't get an exception or anything like that because it wasn't "life threatening"
