There hasn't been a famine in the US since the colonial era. Malnutrition during the 1930s was a product of the Great Depression and while it was bad it was far from being a famine. Meanwhile the USSR suffered from mass famine in the 30s and China suffered another in the early 60s which commies blame on "bad weather", as if bad weather only affected communist countries during that era.

It's also funny how commies ignore the fact that the USSR was buying wheat from the US in the 1970s.
