Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Donnie The Lies? I thought not. It's not a story the MAGAs would tell you. (233)

In what context is him getting shot funny or something to mock? Because people don't like him? You sure as heck wouldn't be laughing it was anyone else you didn't hate. And your justification saying you absolutely can decide which form of gun violence is ok is so darn ignorant. Wonder if you'd make that same claim if it was someone you knew getting shot at (1)

I'm consistently surprised by how shameless the astroturfing is this year. Anything inconvenient to the grand narrative is removed or downmarseyd within seconds.

Short memory, it was at least as bad in 2020, except now they don't have total media janny control with the liberation of X.

There were spammy subs in 2020, but they were at least tangently related to politics. This time it's a total capture of every apolitical community.
2016 was a two-sided contest for the front page, which made the admins so mad they had to effectively rig the algorithm in Clinton's favour.
2012 was far more subdued. There was more organic enthusiasm for libertarians and other weirdos.

Before occupy wall street took off btw did you see that study about how quotas/diversity/DEI in the workplace drastically reduced labour organisation in these big corpos after 2012
Also I think you remember incorrectly, all major subs were completely subsumed by then and those that weren't were either banned by 2021 or taken over with aggressively enforced progressive shibbolething

I think the major change this round is that there's far less genuine activity on Reddit in general. Sure, there was politics in 2020 but it was balanced out by other content. Since then you've had the admins systematically purging any chuddy content and the replacement of /all with /popular. Both of these specifically aim to reinforce the leftoid circlejerks.
Consider BLM for example, in the 2020 cycle subs like /r/actualpublicfreakouts were created to let people share video of rioters behaving badly, and that content would readily reach /all. Today such a sub is simply not allowed, they've had to bend the knee or get banned. This is quite a contrast to places like Twitter and Facebook which are actually more open this cycle than in 2020.

Thomas whatever his name could've farted on Biden and reddit leftoids would be calling for the execution of all registered Republicans in retaliation
I honestly cannot believe even redditors would stoop so low as to dismiss a legitimate and real assassination attempt JUST because he managed to avoid injury
They have to be bots
