Bombshell report: people in Springfield, Ohio really are eating the pets

Not only that, but they're cramming the pets into tiny crates and wire mesh cages. They're confining the pets in hot sheds and making the pets breathe in their own feces.

They're cutting off the pets' eyes, beaks, and tails. They're mutilating the pets' backsides.

They're breeding the pets to grow so fast their organs don't work and their bones crack underneath their own weight. They're impregnating the pets over and over again until the pets can't walk.

They're taking the pets' babies and tying them to posts so they can't move. They're grinding down the pets' teeth. They're slicing into the pets' skulls with hot irons. They're crushing the pets' testicles. They're peeling off the pets' skins.

They're starving the pets for weeks at a time. They're drilling holes in the pets' heads. They're rubbing chemicals in the pets' eyes. They're crushing the pets' spines. They're electrocuting the pets. They're shoving the pets in the backs of trucks and driving them for 28 hours without food or water.

They're hanging the pets up by their hind legs, slitting the pets' throats, and letting the pets bleed out on the floor. They're shooting the pets. They're gutting the pets alive. They're boiling the pets. They're freezing the pets. They're crushing the pets and shredding them right after they're born. They're suffocating the pets in gas chambers. They're shutting off the air and overheating the pets until their organs fail and the pets die. They're gassing the pets because the pets aren't useful anymore.

And then they're eating the pets.

In Springfield, "they're" not eating the pets.

They're all eating the pets.

Don't care. Cow yummy.

Misery inflicted on the animal seems so be causal for how good it tastes. See veal & foie.

The closest thing I've ever had to predator meat was bear, and I didn't like it all. I bet cat meat tastes like cat food.

Alligator tail nuggets are literally naturally spicy chicken nuggets. It's wonderful.

I love alligator and I like predator fish too, but there seems to be something about mammals that makes their flesh taste bad if they eat a lot of flesh themselves. It's also somewhat more dangerous parasite-wise and much less energy efficient to raise, so i dont really see the point of eating predators. I suspect it's mostly a status-symbol, like shark fin soup, which apparently tastes very bland and forgetable.

Cats are obligatory carnivores, they need to eat meat to survive :marseyshrug: Unless you mince the kittens as soon as they're born maybe :marseyhmm:

They just need protein. You can feed them fat and supplements to get them nice and plump

Inherently cruel methods like fois gras aside, meat that's been raised humanely tastes waaaaaay better that stuff that's been factory farmed, but unfortunately it costs at least twice as much.

I'm lucky to have a couple of friends with small hobby farms, so I get to eat their meat, but I can't afford to buy the good stuff at the grocery store.
