A rumor was going around that FurAffinity was banning babyfur (read:p-do) art. The furry community sends their best to respond.

I'm not reading all that because , but I do have some input. A few months ago a guy called into the Peepee Show and he was apparently a close friend to a person of significance among the Furry porn community, the caller himself being a person of lesser significance but enough that people confirmed he was at least who he said he was. The caller claims that all of this stems from some company or other having bought the biggest furry porn site, e621 I believe, and trying to make some marketing money off it. To put into perspective(at least from my understanding as an outsider), e621 is bigger then Rule 34, so it's ad money is no joke. The company which bought the site wanted to keep the site clean of PDF file content and anything too extreme, mostly gore, but they also wanted to keep the site popular so they gave the reigns to the admins to determine what was okay and what was not. This is were the main issue comes into play, the head admin. Before the site was bought, the head admin was the owner, but he was laid back and mainly just maintained the site and made sure nothing illegal was being hosted. His admin team was run by various members of the community and a few friends. One of these friends was chosen to take over as lead admin after the sale, but this admin was heavily against PDF file content and anything that even suggested it. So when the company told him their intentions, he made some chart that showed the dimensions of what a character in a picture could have and not get banned. This chart included things like height, boob size, butt size, and a general guide on facial features(don't really see how you would determine the age of a furry character based on its face but idc). The issue with this was that the way the chart was set up, many obvious false positives would be banned. They changed the chart to be more like a guideline for each category, but this meant that you couldn't have any character with small boobs, small butt, or who was short. The whole situation was further exasperated by the fact that these are all heavily stylized drawings so age is very subjective. Additionally the admins started sorting pictures into the ban or keep pile immediately, so by the time the community had made a huff, half the site was purged. In the aftermath the head admin exploded in a private groomercord chat on other admins and people well liked in the community, when these got leaked it created major factionalism among the furry community.
