I have much better opsec than this dude, and yet I still wouldn't expect to withstand the scrutiny of a deep opposition research process. (Also, what they'd find would be more embarrassing than ethically fraught.)

What are you doing and how do you think you'd get caught? :marseynotesglow:

Just some really kinky (but unquestionably legal) stuff. I've peppered a lot in the comments here, really almost all of it whenever I think I have a good opportunity to troll the normies. It's mostly BDSM and BDSM-adjacent.

How would an aspiring oppo researcher find out? I think the hardest link for me to prevent would be my stylistic fingerprint as a writer. Most people have one that's pretty identifiable if you sic enough analysis on it. Surely, there are other things I've missed, though. And some people just know me personally; I have to continue trusting them to respect my privacy.

It would only really be useful to swing public perception for something like running for office. Like I said, there's no legal question, and I don't have any conflict between my professional identity/regular friends and this. It's not like I'd be revealed as a hypocrite.

I think I'd be able to retain privacy for most scrutiny short of national (maybe big state?) office, but I also have no desire to hold public office. I'm plenty involved in politics in more backroom capacities, and it doesn't involve living in the spotlight.
