My wife is in healthcare, you'd be shocked how much of "mental health" treatment is just getting people to realize they have agency in their own life.

Part of the problem is that if people do make progress and become more functional in society, they lose all the sympathy and gibs they get from over-educated white women.

So the ultimate irony is that these well-meaning progressive types want to help, but just end up letting a person wallow in their condition.

My mom once asked me to clean my room back in 2008. I remember it clear as day, like it happened yesterday.

I relate so much to this due to my mom having her problems and illnesses passed onto me and nothing is more soul crushing than being told you are wrong , which yes I am but getting no reassurance from your mom really crushes people

If you force your child to have responsibilities and basic personal hygiene you should immediately lose custody. Only a psychotic abuser would subject their kid to that.

If my room ever becomes even slightly untidy my Papa will put on his Minnesota Vikings mask and "raid" my room at 4am.

Pull out drawers and dump them, rip the shelves off the walls, turn over furniture, toss the closet, etc.

I will then have exactly 24 hours to "fortify" my room (clean it) before a second raid. If it's neat and tidy I am spared. If not - it begins again.

Aren't like 50% of white zoomer foids diagnosed with something already?
