imagine having such a lack of compassion for your nearest physical neighbours and actually sincerely being joyful at having their life and economic wellfare become redundant because of the very policy and wordlview you advocate for

like just imagine, the sheer ruthlessness this man is advocating for - that because you made mistakes in life, and failed to accumulate education, you deserve impoverishment, and being outcompeted by immigrants who devalue any physical labour you can do out of sheer numbers

these freaks are more callous than libertarian child slavery memers

Nobody hates the working-class common people more than self-proclaimed "progressives" do. :sjwjak: Once upon a time, the left represented the common people. Today, however, the left represents ivory tower elitists who absolutely despise the common people. That's why Donald Trump was able to hit such a raw nerve with blue-collar voters. Trump is a world-class rabble-rouser, and he knows precisely how to appeal to the canaille with populist rhetoric. Of course, in reality, the idea of multi-billionaire Donald Trump being a champion of the common man is absolutely laughable. It's also extremely ironic that Trump is so popular with Evangelicals, because Trump's entire life has been the absolute epitome of sin, gluttony, cupidity, concupiscence, debauchery, and bacchanalia. Trump is the living, breathing embodiment of all 7 deadly sins, other than sloth. Literally all that anyone has to do to get Evangelical morons to fawn over them is to pay lip service to the pro-life movement.

Of course, in reality, the idea of multi-billionaire Donald Trump being a champion of the common man is absolutely laughable.

Trump behaves and lives exactly the same way lower class uneducated whites, and blacks for that matter, behave when they come into wealth. He gilds his mansions with gold, fricks hookers, has baby mommas, runs his mouth all the time and is boastful. That's why the working class sees themselves in him, and they sort of have a point in a way, Trump unironically does care for the average working guy than the left by simple virtue of having no disdain for them.

Trump's ability to resonate with the working poor is really quite something. I think it ultimately comes down to A.) they see themselves as future billionaires; they just gotta work a little bit harder and they'll be just like Trump some day (and, if not, it's because they simply didn't work hard enough or were content with what little they had). And B.) Trump may be obscenely wealthy, but he says vulgar things like "shithole countries" and "grab them by the kitty", which they find relatable because they think and talk the same way. They are wholly convinced that Trump "tells it like it is!", even though his entire career has been based on criminal activities and outright Janus-faced deception. But, hey, he says racist stuff and likes to degrade women, so he's one of us!

Trump has completely hornswoggled the booboisie into thinking that he's a salvific messiah for the common man. To low-information voters, Trump represents their inner id, saying the things that they're too afraid to say and attacking the groups that they scapegoat for their problems. Trump consistently uses crude, exoteric, just-folks language (i.e. the opposite of how I'm talking right now) and, to angry rednecks, every bilious, contrarious, rebarbative thing that comes out of Trump's mouth is a doughty, valorous act of derring-do against the PC establishment. The shambolic state of the government under the Trump administration was always totally irrelevant to them. All that matters to disillusioned rednecks is that Trump "tells it like it is", putting uppity colored people and womenfolk in their place.

In all that longpost you missed it being exactly what I said, Trump behaves like they WOULD behave if they were where Trump is. They wouldn't live in some New England cottage, play tennis and talk about their trips to Milan. Frick that, they'd have a decked out gold mansion, trophy bimbo wife, star in WWE shit, be a player. How many gangsta rappers referenced and praised Trump in the 90s? It was a fair amount.

they see themselves as future billionaires;

The left throws this out but I swear it's more telling on themselves and rightoids don't actually fantasize about being in mansions and having wealth. I'm willing to believe the side most obsessed with billionaires, seething constantly about billionaire wealth and private jets, is the side with the bigger class complex. If anything rightoids are class cucked and are more likely to brag about wagecucking the most shitty blue collar job for little pay to prove they're "hard".

Implies these people have jobs. They're all signed off with fake disabilities pulling a check yet somehow angry at the "undeserving" sponges.
