"in July 2023 she remained trapped in practically the same place, requiring almost 48 hours to be brought back to the surface."

:marseyfacepalm:

"She had vowed never to enter a cave again after a similar incident last year"

EDIT: Apparently this time she needs the help of 100 rescue workers not 20:

"Around 100 people are involved in a rescue operation in the Italian region of Bergamo to bring cave explorer Ottavia Piana to safety"

Theres a difference between being an r-slur amateur who enters the first cave and first opening he sees than a guy who goes spelunking with group and/or a guide. Redditors always bring the nutty putty shit but spelunking is generally safe if you arent IQ deficient

Yeah if a group of newbies gang together without someone knowledgable theyll probably get lost which again brings. Statistically the times people are getting lost in caves is low its just sensationalized every time. Accidents when hiking and climbing mountains are more common than people getting lost in caves

No it isn't. Our brains are programmed to avoid all of those things. Yours is just set to r-slurred and your genes will be cleansed by the underground falling disease.
