For entry level? I made quite a bit less than that as a Chemical Engineer fresh out of college.
Granted it was a government paycheck that set me up for life having on my resume, but most my peers made 70k-80k fresh out college
Once you have experience these numbers are meaningless unless you're r-slurred because pay is negotiated before signing your offer letter, plus base doesn't include bonuses, stipend and other benefits
