Depends on where you are. The media there seems to have been captured by leftoids in the last couple decades but I'm sure there's a heck of a lot of chuddiness going down in Queensland.
Back in the '90s even on the ABC you would see griller content like this:
(Yes, I didn't really want to answer your question. I wanted an excuse to post a Frontline clip. #dealWithIt)

If I understand Aussie politics correctly, their Liberals are basically US Democrats on economic policy. Socially, they range from feminist wokescolds to evangelical Christcucks.

The Liberal Party (in coalition with the National Party) is closest to the UK Conservatives. It's a 'big tent' party but without progressives, socialists and overt chuds. Typically Australian conservatism is pretty similar to most other pro-business conservatism, but our conservatives tend to be pro-immigration and pro-multiculturalism.
The most consistent beliefs the Liberals hold is that their mates deserve taxpayer handouts and the average Aussie can go get fricked.

IMO the biggest difference is that our conservatives tend to advocate for state paternalism. Left or right, you'll still end up with a nanny state here.

I don't know too much about Aussie politics, but I have a pretty high opinion of Labor and Shooters, Fishers and Farmers.

Yeah my family has nearly exclusively voted for the SFF. We have guns and the family did have a farm (sold off a lot of it, still retain some).
