This crowd of people is largely dead today. After 11 years of economic mismanagement and a refusal to privatize industries or make state run enterprises less corrupt I can't think of anyone I know that openly and emphatically supports the military regime. A lot of the islamists movements are also largely dead too so the political scene is Egypt feels extremely fragile right now, I haven't been home in over 2 years and from what I can tell it's only gotten worse. In the Mubarak era there was some mild opposition allowed and the ikhawan were allowed to operate publicly and even hold opposition seats in parliament (under the title of independents) but now I feel like there isn't even any form of opposition, people just silent accept that "this is the best we can get". The military authorities also know that Europe and the United States will bail them out since neither can afford an Egyptian refugee crisis. Grim really, I don't see any good future for Egypt in the near term. @Imani, ايه رايك الوضع لسه كده ولا غيرت شويه عن السنتين اللي فاتت؟
