people really underestimate what you can make in these "low end" jobs lol.
in my area of oregon clerks in stores are making 25.50 an hour. just being a department manager is 30 an hour, 45 hours a week, with 2 bonuses a year and full benefits and basically unlimited overtime.
panda express is another pretty good one.
this isn't even getting into the upward mobility being pretty good in stores, you can jump from department manager to store asm pretty easily and thats a baseline of 130 or so thousand a year.

A vast majority of users on this site are either codecels who use the cafeteria food they got served at Amazon to pad out TC or unemployed adults who LARP as doctors. It's no surprise that this isn't common knowledge.
