When I was deep into dating I would say outlandish shit to rule out unfunny/not fun people. It's normal. You know what you want and you know what to say to rule those people out. Conversations have to be fun for me at least.
At some point you get tired of building connections with randos and getting invested- only to realize that person is an unfunny strag who wouldn't get where ur coming from.
If you can't keep up with your normal banter you do with the boyz (diet banter with foids bit still fun) without getting offended frick off. It's a good filter.
