They mention homeschooling, which leads several people to point out that homeschooling is illegal in some of the countries OP is interested in. OP isn't having it and calls some of the comments 'creepy':

Oh lol I commented on this thread, since they happened to be considering Japan and Costa Rica (which are both countries my family is from). The idea that a black woman would face less prejudice based on race/s*x in those countries than the US is extremely laughable and honestly baffling.
Funniest part is that even if you do think the US will descend into fascism, Costa Rica would be next. They're kept stable completely by US involvement. If the US goes belly-up somehow, it will turn into Nicaragua overnight.
