Just last year in the Mexican elections over 60+ politicians were killed by the cartels trying to influence politics.
As a Mexican, I'm surprised Cartels weren't labeled as terrorists. I dislike Trump as much as anyone else.... but I agree with him on this one.
How are they not terrorists? I don't like Trump but how are people who hang freshly skinned people from stop lights to scare the shit out of the population not terrorist? They kill dozens of politicians every election cycle down there . 170 plus attempted assassinations. In one election cycle.
Ahh shittt it hit 100#. I just wanna give a shout out the Poland!

The other day I joked that because my daily accrued interest went up by 1Β’ between Sunday and Monday, the economy is healing thanks to Trump taking office. Did the "wedding cake" fallacy to imply that "at that rate, my interest will be an extra $3.65/day by next year!"
Checked again two days later now and it's gone up another 2Β’. Is my shit actually going up that fast? Wtf

I need to find a decent interest calculator because now I'm genuinely curious how much it'll go up in one year, assuming interest rate stays steady and I don't make any further contributions.
I can easily find out what my balances will be one year from now, but I'm curious about what my daily accrued interest would be at that higher balance. Every calculator focuses on monthly/annual
Edit: since i know what my theoretical balance will be, it's
principal * interest * (1/365)
. Looks like if absolutely nothing changes, I'll earn ~5,500 in interest and the daily accrued will go up 65Β’ by this time next year. Not fantastic but not terrible either. I'm not willing to do anything with risksJump in the discussion.

I'm extremely risk-adverse. I'd rather have secure minimal growth than potential massive growth.
I do have some stocks, all of which lost the majority of their value.
Even though it pisses some people off, I have ~115k spread between a HYSA and a couple CDs. It barely offsets inflation at 5% APY but it's safe. I can't lose 96% of it like I did with CHPT.
As @Grue knows, I reserve my massive growths for other subjects
