I know many of you here didn't liked the game and called it second coming of Hitler
But I agree with this comment:
(I know the anti woke don't want to admit it but they basically cancelled this game.
Like how woke people cancel stuff they did it to this game because it didn't fit their "view".
This game never had a chance from the get go.

Yep, they want shareholders to believe that they reached 1.5 million sales, but their wording is intentionally misleading.
Will never stop surprising how r-slurred Redditors are, Dragon age sold similar to ff7 rebirth so the numbers did reach 1.5 millions
But main problem hating dragon age is this
For shareholders it doesn't make any sense now doing AAA single players games since most people just play call of duty and fifa and some mobile sloop.
Dead space remake was awesome but it also flopped so no dead space 2 remake.
Anytime I begin to talk to anyone about gaming here in the UK, they all mention they're g*mers. When I ask what they play, they all respond "Fifa and COD". If they're under 30 they also mention Fortnite. It's so rare for me to find anyone who plays anything outside of the aforementioned games in real life let alone someone who plays Final Fantasy.

The game had a character talking about xer pronouns in the game. Several times.
I don't know if I could thoroughly sabotage a game that much if I tried my best.
And they did it unironically, expecting widespread public acclaim for the dumbest, most r-slurred pointless tumblr gender nonsense.

They keep forgetting that minority doesn't mean black people but actually means the minority share of a large group. Catering too an audience of 5% while having a budget that requires sales too 50% of the audience is always going too be an r-slured move.

Not just that, but the character who is an adult "warrior" acted like a pathetic child who's companion quest involved getting in arguments with her mom who "didn't understand her", was incredibly ugly aesthetically and EA decided it would be a good idea to make this character one of the main faces of their game in their marketing promotions.
There's a lot of stupid chud rage out there right now about DEI, but let's make it clear, DEI killed this game. It infected every aspect of it from its game design, its visual design and even its marketing.
Any sane person could have pointed out that this strategy is insanely r-slurred and will fail to resonate with players, but DEI creates a company culture where sane people are extremely rare or just not willing to sacrifice their own career to point out the obvious to cultists.
EA truely gets what it fricking deserves.

imo the issues were more expansive than that. I watched my friend play some of it.
There just weren't really any dialogue options. I mean yeah okay they technically gave you multiple choices, but they were all more or less the same thing.
Like at this one point this guy sold out his village to the big evil guy and is now stuck (trapped) on a pole. You go up to him and talk to him about it. Obviously he's a piece of shit. There's options to forgive him, or options to leave him alone "and let him die". There was NO option to just kill the guy. Why not? Because at every fricking turn the dialogue has guardrails on it to keep you PC. It felt like the dialogue was vetted not as "is this appropriate for us to put in a video game" but "would this be an appropriate thing for one of our employees to say".
That kind of shit is really, really annoying in an RPG, even to people who otherwise would look past a handful of options related to pronouns.

Yeah I figured that would happen. That's why I wanted to just kill him. The dialogue option mentioned something like "leave him to die" and I was like "if you leave and he's not dead, he's going to come back, just kill him now and end it".
Reminds me of that time I tried playing Life is Strange since everybody was raving about it (this was when it was just the one game). I forget the details but I'm pretty sure someone pulled a gun on you in the bathroom and somebody (you? I forget) pulled the fire alarm as a means of escape. Anyways you're talking to the principal or teacher or something and none of the dialogue options were "hey there's a guy with a fricking gun just fyi thought you should know".
Meanwhile while playing Skyrim, which is by absolutely NO means "peak RPG", when that assassin lady captured me and told me I had to execute one of her prisoners, I could simply turn around and kill the b-word, then go to the cops and kill the rest of those assassin scum.
