Any oldstrags homeschool their kids?

I went to both public and private schools, not like the uber rich private schools, the Christian one where its the same education in public schools but they just squirm around the evolution topic. Looking back at the quality of my education and seeing what it could really be, I'm thinking of homeschooling my kid because I guarentee I am more knowledgeable in most subjects than most high school teachers. I was looking up curriculum from different programs, and some of these have you teaching latin and greek in elementary, which I found incredible. I'm not too worried about making my kids super weird because all kids are super weird now.

Also, i created the ping group !parents because I can only imagine what kind of info we could all share.

PPS, if you like anime and apply to this group, I will not be approving you, anime is gay, and gays cant make babies.

I'm just beginning to get redpilled on this topic. I'll share a few thoughts…

(a) It's eye opening how poor the demographics are even in nicer suburbs e.g. I'll be on Zillow and browsing $500k homes in a 80% white zip code, yet the public schools closest to that home will be 50% white and a significant % of the kids are on reduced lunch. I use SchoolDigger for the stats.

What's the cause of this? Are the richer whites sending their kids private, charter, homeschool, etc?

I noticed Colorado in particular has a significant % of school age kids in charters. Are there politics to getting your kid placed in a charter if you move to Colorado from out of state and don't have a lot of connections there?

(b) I've heard of parents forming homeschool collectives to divvy up the teaching and other duties. Would be interesting to learn more about the mechanics of this.

No need to respond publicly to these concerns for obvious reasons - I'm merely throwing some of the problems out there as food for thought.

I know around 10% of all kids are homeschooled, probably a majority of those are white or asian. We're talking to several of our friends and families to pick their brains about this. Seems like some are interested in splitting up the subjects, like the kids may be in groups of 4 or 5 and travel to a different house each week.
