Don't park in garage. Even with improved catalytic converters, they still will expel a decent amount of carbon monoxide.
If you start your car in the garage and keep it on for just 5 minutes, you are looking at about 50 ppm of carbon monoxide, probably more for those huge vehicles.
Any level of carbon monoxide above 0, will cause brain damage, but being exposed to 50 ppm of carbon monoxide repeatedly is sure to drop your iq at least a few points over 5+ years.
