The whole politicising/debate over healthcare is so tiresome. I've been to the doctor once in 7 years and it was for insurance purposes after a car accident.
It's such a small minority of the population who need constant care, but muh healthcare is all people want to talk about.

Whenever you see someone complaining about America no le free healthcare, they're always without fail, a fatty with a white woman disease. Chronic fatigue, PCOS, fibromyalgia, chronic Lyme. They doctor shop and the doctors know this from their file, they complain that they have to wait months for a specialist visit because they're low priority. Also even the shittiest healthcare plan has annual checkup covered.

The majority of medical expenditure doesnt go to Three Fingered Joe who refuses to wear PPE because it's for strags, it's people who are lifetime drains on the system who will never contribute to it as much as they take.

I've worked at a doctor's office before, it really isn't mostly fats/munchies going there. Its the old and the unlucky. Injuries are relatively common and people of every age get sick. Some day it will be you getting fricked because Cigna decided they weren't going to cover the procedure they explicitly told you is covered by your plan when you called.

that said, they need to overhaul the healthcare system/medical insurance. Im certainly not saying with universal healthcare or subsidies. It just needs to be made fsr more clear/transparent and doctors/insurance companies shouldnt be able to just make up numbers and double charge for shit. If any other industry operated like them itd be called fraud
