Even for shoestring shlock 'content' intending only to provide a backstory to a clown mask at Spirit, Terrifier is worthless. I'm glad that now its wild popularity is better explained today by my own media literacy.

I have a friend who talks about these movies and how much they love them and it's just disturbing to me. Gore and violence for the sake of it isn't healthy. Especially when it's just slaughtering people with less a plot than usual. The franchise is so blatantly on the nose it feels like they forgot to add in a second act twist of someone who can kill this thing coming in.
Why isn't that in horror movies more too? Have some grizzled old bastard suddenly step in and flip the script on who is hunting who? Basically I won't watch any slasher unless it turns into the Predator at the end.
