Unfortunately, it's the inevitable fate of all subreddits. SRD used to be pretty humorous too but at some point, they began to see themselves as crusaders against the worst of Reddit rather than just a watchful peanut gallery. I'll give BPT some credit for actually being kinda funny at its inception, but I knew it would never last long either.
