The post was about a plane ride to Japan from Europe, I'm sure you would just stoically stare into the wall for 10 hours, but whatever. Honestly, there's so much soy garbage on /r/SteamDeck, this post isn't even that bad. At least it's a somewhat useful idea compared to all the posts just circlejerking that the SD is cool. I GET THAT IT'S COOL, WHY THE FRICK WOULD I VISIT THE SUB OTHERWISE.

I just figured out how to emulate old Pokemon games on my steam deck so that's what I've been using it for. I thought I would get a lot more mileage out of that thing but I don't know I can't really be bothered with it most days, maybe I'm just getting old. I still think the PSP was the peak of mobile gaming. Perfect size, library and all the pirate software you could want.

Easily the most insane part of this post. Why is he flying Air China and not All Nippon Airways? They're both Star Alliance, and ANA is a much better airline. But maybe it doesn't matter in economy?

I researched using a Chinese airline for traveling to Japan from Europe and it was much cheaper, like half price. Personally, I don't want to spend big bucks on a 10 hour transport experience, I'd rather spend that money in Japan
. So, it can be worth it, but it was not available in my country, so I would have to take an unofficial transit flight which would be insane, if the transit flight was late, I would just be fricked. Also, traveling through China would make me somewhat uncomfortable
