Have chuds really always hated USAID so much? :marseyhmm:

[I have to make this edit because I overestimated you tards. ENGLISH MOTHERLOVERS. Do you speak it? This post is not about foreign aid in general, whether USAID is corrupt (probably is :marseyshrug:), etc. It is about chuds' attitude to the specific institution USAID over time.]

Above is the google searches for "usaid" over the last 5 years, so it goes all the way back to Trump's first term.

Here's the last month. Notice it has nothing to do with Trump's inauguration. It just suddenly fires up one day when the NPCs got their firmware update.

:#npcmaga:

I've seen chuds all over this place acting like they always knew USAID is corrupt and this has been common knowledge throughout society for a long time.

Here's a good example from @finbarfin: USAID, one of the more infamous money laundering arms of our sprawling government

Infamous? Like Charles Manson? Benedict Arnold? Idi Amin? That Borgia chick who poisoned people? I've never in my life heard someone describe a person as "infamous" because they just became hated by a fraction of the population in the last week.

But Redactor, we've always hated USAID! We've been railing against their corruption for so long.

This site's users are neurodivergent, highly political, mostly right-wing so surely it has come up. Well, let's look at the data. (I know that's what the DOGE boys would do.) It was mentioned in 58 posts, of which 7 are from more than a month ago. It was mentioned in 134 comments, 13 from more than a month ago. Most of these just mention it in passing. Quite a few are negative, but not in the way our current chud program says. Most of these are attacking the politicians who ordered USAID to do something, third world people for stealing, or pointing out the actually true fact that it's largely a corporate welfare program for farmers. I'm not finding anything about corruption in the agency itself.

Did anyone post any evidence that they actually gave a shit about the internal workings of USAID back then? There was one person. Just one person. Can you guess who it was? I'll give you some time to think this over.

It was me! Little old Redactor. Not only did I care, I cared enough to read the entire fricking section of Project 2025 about it.

:#marseylaugh: :#marseyletsgo: :#marseylaugh:

And what was my opinion of it? It must be some woke soy libtard response. I probably cried on the shoulders of another guy in my polycule. You know me, the left-wing extremist.

I skimmed through Intelligence and USAID. It actually wasn't too scary. Most of it was just boilerplate "we should do things more efficiently" bullshit that could just as easily come from the Democrats. Their only new ideas were funneling aid money to missionaries in Africa and using aid to hurt Iran somehow.

Why did I choose those two sections? Why not health care, education, finance, other more important stuff? Because this was what I felt I was most qualified to evaluate.

I am the only one of you r-slurs who actually knew anything about your issue du jour before now. I even knew what was supposed to be Daddy's game plan for it. You can't deny it. I am the King of Chuds. It's time for you to crown me.

Idg the hype over the USAID thing, 99% of it boils down to either "omg, gov't agency run by annoying liberals funded things annoying liberals like" or deranged conspiracy nonsense. I mean, USAID always had a lot of scope creep, a little gibs, a little international backscratching, a little :marseyglow:.

But come on, freaking out over the US funding dumb shit? What is this, little :feraljakmaga:'s first day on Earth?

There was a Senator Proxmire (D) back in the 1970s-1980s who did this kind of bullshit. He'd find some weird thing that a scientist was spending $100,000 of government money on. (I mean obviously his staff is doing this.) Then he'd find the worst possible way he could twist words to make it sound like bullshit. Like if some scientist was studying advanced glass technology, he would make that "The NSF spent $150,000 on studying how teen girls break their phones." It's very effective against low-end midwits.

I don't want them spending $20 million on drag queen story hour in Namibia or whatever. That's why we have elected officials and civil servants who do that for us. I only need to know if corruption is rampant in the agency and nobody is doing anything about it. I haven't seen Musk come up with any evidence of that anywhere. And I've seen a heck of a lot of evidence of him starting it.

This happens a lot with science. All fricking research has been cut even on actually useful shit. Again it's not just the gov either since many corporate research companies partner with government agencies so all of that research has been stone walled. To actually get it done many gov researchers are working off the clock and using texting or IRC to communicate with the private labs to actually get this shit moving. Ofc chuds and lolberts will only see the twitter bait "ummmm $100,000 was spent on drag queen sociology" and think that's worth cutting 10s of millions in cancer or health research.

That's a completely different argument from your post. Good job!

Original complaint: none of you people knew to complain about USAid until you were told to! You NPCs!

This complaint: I want to know about the corruption but Musk is only saying it's there, not showing it to my satisfaction!

Original complaint

And then a pack of mongoloid r-slurs who didn't understand what I was saying descended on this post.

I want to know about the corruption but Musk is only saying it's there, not showing it to my satisfaction!

Ummm... yeah. :#marseyshrug:

Just saying that everyone there is corrupt and giving me no evidence doesn't cut it.

Corrupt also means 'ideological and stupid' in this context. When you're having a discussion about whether it's better if the money was being stolen or being used for its claimed purpose, the definition of 'corrupt' expands.

Okay. Musk has found ~$30 million spent on left-wing gay shit. USAID has a budget of $40 billion. I'm not sure it's worth destroying an important government agency, losing thousands of employees with hard to find skills, and killing a bunch of kids because 1/1000 of the budget was diverted into telling third world kids what pronouns they could use.

If nothing else, it's shocking how ineffective Musk is. I'd expect that at least 5% of their money is siphoned off into left-wing political stuff, but Musk can only find 0.1% of it. This guy is the expert who your trust so much?

Who's you? This is a dramastorm. I never said I like Musk or think he's an expert.

But also, who knows what else he's found besides the ones you know about?

But also also, yes, fire those people and close those agencies. And prove it's killing those kids. It's not like half the big gestures aren't half walked-back within 24 hours anyway.

A lot of Trump voters are first time voters, this probably is brand new to them lmao.
