Do you feel a dissonance when you compare your room to other rooms in /r/malelivingspace? What do you make of the differences?

I do. I definitely admire a lot of the rooms in the sub. I love interior design in general. I know I'm not like typical guys and of course, one of the places that's gonna show up is my bedroom. I was raised as a girl so of course Im gonna be more comfortable expressing femininity than most other men. But I dont see anything wrong with it. What do you think?

I think someone's private space is an effortless reflection of themself and the lack of femininity in men's room doesn't stem from being uncomfortable expressing it or the way they were raised but from something innate.
Given that you have feminine sensibilities and hobbies and behaviour, how did you come to the conclusion that you're a man?

Its hard to describe. I remember always being confused. My parents raised me just like any other kid. I mean, they didnt even know what being trans was. So there wasnt any outside influence really. But I remember being little and being confused as to whether I was a boy or a girl. When I voiced these concerns, people would tell me I was a girl. But I secretly never believed them. I wonder myself sometimes... "How do I really know?"
I think ultimately, its just something innate. Something I know to be true without needing evidence of it.
I have nothing against being a girl. Its just never felt like me. And Ive always dreamt of having a male body... not in a sexual way. Just, something about the body I have now doesnt feel right.

Have you considered that it's a common feeling among neurodivergents and you would be better served by working towards accepting yourself as a woman rather than pursuing those feelings?

I think you need to clean up some of the clutter in your room, get new bedsheets, a new mirror, and switch out some of the floral decorations for something more masculine. Is this just your room in your parents' house or something?
