Maybe I should've phrased that better: do they ever drop in price before a new gen rolls around or in an otherwise reasonable timeframe? It'd be r-slurred to wait a year for a couple dozen bucks to be shaved off the price when a newer model releases at the old price. I think.
The primary benefit of waitstragging seems to be saving 100% off the retail price by never actually buying anything.
