The fundamental problem is that our society judges value based on education. We have said for decades that A). Poverty is an outcome of ignorance and B). We need to eliminate poverty. So you have a system where we try to turn every American into a doctor or laywrr or faang software engineer making 6 figures and if you make a poverty level wage at McDonald's its your fault for being stupid and not getting a good job. This also leads into mass immigration because if everyone is working a high pay white color job you need hoards of illegals to do every other job.
The issue is this doesnt work. You cannot magically make every human a doctor or lawyer and even if you could there aren't enough jobs to go around. You cant solve the problem of poverty by just making everyone get a high paying job.
What we need to do is separate the wheat from the chaff. If a student is disruptive or doesnt care or is malignant to education kick them out of school and give them a living wage scrubbing pottys or flipping burgers. Then education can be focused on lifting those who can handle it rather then trying to force every square peg into a round hole.
This very much triggers liberals because they have a deeply ingrained classism which causes them to believe anyone who is uneducated is a lesser being who doesn't deserve happiness so suggesting that we shouldn't try and educate everyone is suggesting some people should be doomed to disrespect and poverty when in reality im just suggesting we treat everyone with dignity regardless of if they are "smart" or not. !nonchuds

Back when nationalism and centralization were invented, teachers would poke and prod 120IQs to leave their podunk towns and get some proper education (in the capital preferably). The bureaucracy needed more than just warm bodies back then.
Doing that today would be not only alien but for many immoral![:marseysigh: :marseysigh:](https://i.rdrama.net/e/marseysigh.webp)

My school basically had applying to college as a graduation requirement lol
It wasn't as blatant as that. But we had to submit a "five year plan" to our homeroom teachers and had one on one monthly disucssions with them where they'd ask you about all the application waivers you could get etc. etc. until they wore you down and you got accepted to some rank 1200 regional college that was happy to accept 20k$/yr government loans

This is particularly true for women. The economic carrying capacity of make-work useless email jobs has already been reached. You can always use more laborers, technicians, construction workers, and stuff. We were told that when we shipped those jobs off to the third world we would create enough management and post-industrial positions here in the United States to make up the difference, but that simply isn't true.
This has created a negative feedback loop. Because we're producing too many college graduates for these email jobs, applicants need to find a way to distinguish themselves. The easiest way to do so is via credentialism, which is achieved through even more education. MSW, MPH, MA in HR, even most MBAs don't exist because they add meaningful value. They exist because its the only way for applicants to get the foot in the door to these limited jobs. Graduate degree debt as a share of student loans has jumped from being ~20% of all debt in 2000 to a majority of debt today.

That's not a negative feedback loop r-slur.
a negative feedback loop is a self correcting feedback loop. What you're describing is a positive feedback loop. With negative side effects.

Even when women get degrees in non-email-jobs, they still end up working email jobs because they're not actually interested in the STEM field they got a degree in. "Women in engineering" groups are a cancer on women.

There are a handful of competent women interested in STEM, but the other 99% ruin their reputation.

it turns out intellergence is an inherent trait seperate from education
we knew this for forever until we educated ourselves into a lie
the blank slate: everyone is just a hecking COMPUTER
running mental SOFTWARE we can change. if we just PROGRAM THEM correctly
we win soyciety
another part of why libs hate it so much, this lie is at the core of their belief.
we ain't the same. if we're computers some mfs running a 486
and they can only handle DOS. they keep trying to install window 11

And thus you run into the central problem with attempting to reform education in any way along these lines. It is axiomatic in policy discussions in todays society that identity classifications should not implicate anything in outcomes. And yet, there is no doubt in my mind should education reform happen along the lines being proposed here you would inevitably end up with more people of certain races in advanced classes and more people of other races not. And then someone sues alleging disparate impacts and you cannot possibly raise the defense that maybe races have different aptitude distributions, so you lose and the entire system gets blown up.
Basically this.

Another issue is school is so feminized that being a normal boy is seen as toxic. A lot of boys would excel going to hands on technical schooling ASAP instead of learning about the queer undertones of Shakespeare or what a Chinese emperor did in 1200.
