Ironically, it is you who is misunderstanding.Awakened Garou = Cosmic "Fear" Garou. A form thats AFTER he gets God's powers but has free will. "Awakened" because his direct abilities took an almost Saitama-level power up.Monster Garou is what we are looking at and is conscious. Literally fought "with" Metal Bat vs Centipede and Evil Ocean. Monster Garou was a beast and would decimate Kaido. That guy was fighting nonstop powerhouses back to back. (1)

First off, we need to acknowledge that David has confirmed lion and bear kills IN BASE FORM while he was still just a shepherd. These weren't just regular animals either - ancient Judean bears were the now-extinct Syrian brown bear subspecies, which could reach up to 550-600 pounds. And he killed these apex predators WITH HIS BARE HANDS. That's already putting him at wall-level striking strength minimum.
But his most impressive feat is obviously the Goliath fight. Everyone focuses on the sling, but they're ignoring the actual calc here. Period-accurate military slings could launch projectiles at around 100 mph. Given the estimated weight of ancient sling stones (around 50-60g) and Goliath's reported height (6 cubits = roughly 9 feet), we can calc the kinetic energy needed to penetrate a skull at that size. This puts David's striking precision at BUILDING LEVEL when weaponized.
Even more overlooked: After dropping Goliath, David blitzed to his body and decapitated him with Goliath's own sword. Do you realize how much strength it takes to lift a bronze age sword scaled for someone 9 feet tall? The grip alone would be massive. This is an insane lifting feat that nobody talks about.
Don't even get me started on his later feats as king when he was in his prime. Two hundred confirmed Philistine kills? That's multi-city block level AT MINIMUM in terms of combat speed and endurance.
In conclusion, David scales WAY above where most people put him. He's definitely above peak human and arguably superhuman even before becoming king. Fight me in the comments if you disagree but show your calcs first.

Idk how you can be so wrong, but so sure.Awakened Garou Cosmic fear mode is literally the form he takes fighting Saitama outerspace. The one AFTER losing to Saitama in Monster form. Again, awakened by God when he reached out to him and enhanced his ability. A full title he was dubbed which was never given to him UNTIL after God intervened. A new form/mode (Cosmic fear) and enhanced powers (Awakened) = Awakened Garou: Cosmic Fear Mode. He was never considered "Awakened" during his monster period. Especially not when he had another transformation. What? Would he be called Stage 1 (no consciousness) = "Monster Garou". Stage 2 (consciousness) = "Awakened Garou" Stage 3 (final transformation) = "Awakened Garou: Final Form"? Makes no sense at all when they were all just stages of Monsterfications.There is no "iterations".There are only stages to when he fought in Monster Form. No different from how you would compare Luffy in chapter 5 vs Enies lobby Luffy (2nd and 3rd gear).:

Do you really think Kaido hitting at the same strength as Flashy Flash, Platinum Sperm, Sage Centipede, and Evil Ocean Water, much less hitting stronger than all of them? Frick no, Garou won each and every one of those fights (he's not the one who killed them in the end but still) and tanked hits from all of them. Kaido also doesn't have the durability of any of those characters and Garou was doing damage to all of them. Even if we take away his literal FTL speed Garou is still wiping Kaido no diff, this is a spite match, that's all:
