Don't you not want to be reborn in a higher plane? It's not as bad as being born in a lower plane but being human is the most ideal for getting out of Samsara. Spending centuries in not!heaven makes that harder.

Being born in a pure land is different from being born in heaven. You will eventually fall out of heaven. But once born in a pure land your buddhahood is inevitable :)
