Do you know anything about quality chef knives? Using a Japanese knife, or really any quality knife, on chicken bone is incredibly stupid. Might as well throw it in the dishwasher with your silverware.

Who are these people that only buy shitty knives?

Iirc japan has strict laws against counterfeit goods so knockoffs esp in Kyoto is super rare

But in this case, $300 for a knife that took this beating is just a shitty purchase
