BIPOC is the dominant strategy of the slur game. It's applicable anywhere, anytime and in any situation. Slurs normally balance themselves out: overuse makes them lose their potancy (see: mongoloid, cracker, strag), but not so with BIPOC!
My pet theory is that many children develop reverence for it because of early exposure due to civil rights units in history class. It's associated not with scolding or silly punishments like common swearwords, but with genuine murder and hatred.
That said, times are changing. The rampant chuddening of America may lessen BIPOC's reverence, leading to a new metagame. Only time will tell!
