Women have memorized that list of 183+ reasons not to get pregnant and internalized it in such a way that it acts as a framwork for all logic when thinking about childbearing.
She's probably concerned about a dangerous ectopic pregnancy in a state that would let her and her child die rather than doing anything to help.

I was gonna say "Oh boo hoo. Might have to drive a little bit to get an abortion if you change your mind," but he might actually be in the state furthest from an abortion center, lol. He's in Florida and I think he'd have to go to Virginia.
