!oldstrags, once again, we see that !millenials and !zoomers are incapable of thinking about what the frick it is they're actually saying. Up until very recently, all food delivery was done by an employee of the restaurant the food was being delivered from. If a delivery guy pulled anything, you could pick up the phone and call his boss. Aside from the customer not being given a (presumably fake) name and a (definitely fake) picture on a screen, it was significantly less anonymous than it is now, where unvetted people employed by no one can do whatever the Heck they want, and if you try to contact customer service, you get a robot.
