>I'm a trans man and non-binary

I guess I'm a boomer because I just cannot keep up with how this is all supposed to work. I tried. Really.

I don't they can either. Those are two conflicting things but "trans man" alone doesn't score you enough diversity points anymore, so they need another label

Current Year TRA discourse states that trans individuals on HRT and other gender affirming means are actually biologically the same as cis individuals for the s*x and gender they say they are.

So basically the trans man part is the biological component, they were born as a female but are now biologically/sexually male and the non-binary is the gender component where they are sexually male but they do not identify specifically as either a man or woman in the social sense.

Tl;dr

Yeah I kinda get that this is what they probably mean but the words being used to describe this just do not make sense here. Isn't the word "transmasculine" or something what they should be using? And TRAs will normally say that you don't need any sort of hormones/surgery to be "biologically" the s*x that you identify with, so the term is ironically being used in the "normal" sense to imply that they're a man because they look like one?

Being able to work through all the contradictions is probably core to what it means to be woke, but I still hate it when even without the trans movement the same words can mean radically different things and that you're allowed to say things that would normally be said by chuds ("I'm a man because I look like a man") if there's some sort of appropriate queer context to it ("but I'm still a queer enbie deep inside.")

non-binary + not trans = attention seeking, like "bisexual" women but even lower commitment

non-binary + trans = knows they have no hope of passing
