So earlier today I received a knock at the door, and I check my door camera and I see a uniformed police officer standing outside my apartment. They leave something on my door and go back to a black SUV parked outside. They are then in the SUV for about 15 minutes. They leave and I wait another 15 minutes before I grab the card and bring it inside. Here is the card with anything that could be used to find me blurred out.
What the frick does this mean? Why am I being watched? I'm afraid that this could be a test and if I call the number listed it could be some sort of trap. I'm not even sure what I could have done because I don't even say slurs or anything like that. I never threaten violence other than through mutual combat which is legal in my state. Was lowkey panicking so I checked with chatgpt to see what was happening.
ChatGPT is telling me this when I ask but it makes no sense because I truly can't think of anything I could have done. It's actually so funny that this happens now. Because when I was actually going through something that could be considered a struggle and this could have been useful they never came. Not a soul noticed. But I have to deal with things like this now when I've been the happiest I've been in my entire life? I have simply never had this much energy, nor been so certain that things are going my way.
Anyways, does anyone have any advice on what I should do? Will they keep coming back?

sometimes they go door to door for "community outreach", butt really its so they can go door to door and identify the traphouses/stoner dens/opium huts/and fentnyl flats.

Do you think I should call from a burner phone to try and find out? It seems risky because if I'm wrong then won't they just assume I made the burner phone because they already know where I live? The officer did not go to any other apartments.

I dont know youre circumstances butt if it were me I would just ignore them. If later they ask why you never called, say you thought they were doing community outreach and havent had any emergencies or need to call the police hasnt come up. Also by later I mean if im being interrogated/under arrest and have an attorney representing me present. You have no legal obligation to answer the foor in most states, and you generally have no obligstion to call the police unless ur some kind of mandatory reporter. does the card even ask u to call?

No the card doesn't say to call. I'm probably just going to ignore it and hope it was a community outreach that they only came to me for some reason. There's no proof that I don't believe this.

If you look up the police department they are from, you can most likely look for a warrant list (should be through that county's court somewhere, google your county + warrant list) and you'll see active warrants. If you aren't on that list, you aren't in trouble, and someone probably just called a wellness check on you.
