its auto manufscturers doing it tho and its not bc "muh LEDs", theyre brighter bc the car maker doesnt want to get sued by some :marseyzoomer: with smartphone induced shit vision blaming the headlights not being bright enough as the reason for their crashing while toktoking.  The automanufafturers all want to say that they have a safer car by showing they have the brightest headlights.  Safety ratings  agencies rate vehicles with brighter stock headlights as safer, regardless of its blinding effect on other drivers.  The issue seriously needs regulation and all headlights should be dimmed by 50% imho.
