Can someone explain to me what "illegal protest" means? To me any protest is protected under the 1st amendment whether you agree with it or not. Even if what you are protesting is considered "protected" anyone should be able to speak out about anything no matter how stupid, ignorant, or how evil their message is. Obviously this might be a semantical issue here, but i would like to know whats being classified as "illegal". Thanks

The thing that makes me angry was to see liberal adults totally ignoring the Nazi like antisemitism coming from a lot of these schools before Israel even took action. I mean my God, there were videos coming out every day of unbelievable chance towards Jewish students. Assaults. Blocking them from going into schools. Liberals destroying the schools While supporting Hamas. Liberal students telling Jewish students that a lot of October 7 was fake. Nobody was r*ped. Liberal students tearing down posters of missing adults and children from October 7. I could go on and on. So yeah, Trump needs to do something about this to those type of students.

So what % of all funding is STEM funding?

Stealing someone's money to give a grant to your pet projects is horribly inefficient spending even if it's going to STEM. If STEM truly is worth it, people will fund it with their own investment. And it is worth it and they do invest it towards this shit all the time. It's just that people get to pick which projects they deem worthwhile and to what degree instead of a bureaucrat shotgunning money at all sorts of shit much of which is stupid, political, or both.

You're implicitly stating your complete lack of confidence in STEM with this position. Why advocate for a sector you don't actually believe can stand on its own?
