DOGE is joining the 41%

https://www.nytimes.com/2025/03/03/us/politics/doge-musk-contracts-wall.html

Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency has deleted hundreds more claims from its mistake-plagued "wall of receipts," erasing $4 billion in additional savings that the group said it had made for U.S. taxpayers.

Late Sunday night, the group erased or altered more than 1,000 contracts it had claimed to cancel, representing more than 40 percent of all the contracts listed on its site last week. The deleted items included five of the seven largest savings that it had claimed credit for just last week. At the same time, the group added about 1,000 additional canceled contracts, worth smaller total savings.

Idk how elon does it. Doge has been such an embarrassing failure he should have been shamed out of the country but instead he tweets out "this spreadsheet has weird entries and they are paying for too many software licenses xDDDD" and a million r*ghtoids respond with "omg u uncovered the biggest fraud in the history of the US pls frick my wife

a 20 second query could show that buying bulk licenses gives you price breaks and after a certain amount it doesn't cost you more to go from 20,000 to 30,000

especially if you are the gubbermint they give you bottom tier pricing

something came out about one of the gov contracts for cell phones was $1 per phone purchase (motorola blackberry) and somewhere around $25 flat per line for talk/text/data

that was around 2010 but it was due to a massive contract that the cellular company couldn't say no to
