to convince them to not have a domestic 
dairy 
industry with this strategy. Approaching 
them with "look how strong 
our trade relationship is, you don't need to be protectionist" might have worked but he just broke over a century of the US not violating treaties and are currently demonstrating why they can't depend on the US.
Canada isn't going
to liberalize their banking system 
either. They have the safest banking system 
in the world 
because they choose 
to avoid 
financialization and have a very small 
number 
of banks that are easy to regulate.
They are not going
to surrender 
land to the US, the existing border 
treaty isn't going 
to be changing. It would 
be pretty 
funny 
for Trump 
to try and anexe part of Canada 
though, US having article 5 declared against it would 
be wild.
