nah, carsnin the 60s and early 70s were allowed to have more power. Jimmy carter and the EPA passed a bunch of dumb emmissions regulatioms that turned the engines into dogshit starting around 77. Ive driven a lot of old cars, trans am wasnt my favorite

early 70s csrs were night and day faster than late 70s cars and youre an r-slur if you think otherwise. Early emmissions regulations had a huge effect on engine performance especially at first when manufsfturers didnt knlw how to work with it thay grwat
