I think a lot of them aren't, but they're on SSRIs that deplete their libido and the rest is just deciding to make that their personality. So when their libido peeks through they deny to themselves and others that's what it is, because they've already defined themselves as one of those special people not obsessed with s*x unlike all those icky other people (usually straight men).
