!bobmob bob is gooning over x-men in the mcu, trying to say that antiwokeness killed people's love for the MCU and that they need to realize how epic searching for easter eggs is again

So, in hindsight, the buildup to "what actually is 'DOOMSDAY' and what probably also was 'KANG DYNASTY'" seems to have been "Avengers vs X-Men"/"MCU vs FoxVerse;" i.e. what's been teased for YEARS the Mutant/X stuff the fandom hype channels ignored in the pivot to antiwoke culture war clickbait

keep in mind this is the guy who says that caring about canon doesnt matter, telling you to get invested in the canon of one set of toys meeting the other set of toys

When my kid was born a few years ago now, my wife and I effectively stopped watching movies and TV altogether. We watched Tiger King during Covid lockdown and thought it was pretty good, but that was basically it. I haven't seen a "grown-up" movie or show in years.

I don't feel like I'm missing anything either. Regardless of how "woke" movies like the Avengers are, they all strike me as really juvenille and I've got no desire to see them even if I do get the time.

What I was refering to was films that were not specifically marketed towards kids under ten.

I mean, I'm mentally under ten, but I still have no interest in any more Marvel movies.
